"Me" time makes me a better wife and mother...
I know we have all felt overwhelmed...what mom doesn't?? We get stressed just from day to day life. Trying to get your toddler to eat something other than peanut butter and jelly can get very challenging!! But sometimes I think we need to really make an effort to take "me" time. And by "me" time, I don't mean that your hubby is watching the kids for 5 minutes so you are able to take a shower with no one walking in the bathroom. Or that you get to clean up the dinner dishes without a child pulling on your leg. This week I am PMS-ing and I am in need of some "me" time. I love my kids unconditionally....but they can drive me to the NUT HOUSE! If everyone leaves me alone for just one hour...I will be a better wife and mother.

I completely agree! It is such a big difference when you are not stressed out or worrying about everyone else! Happy mom and wife makes everything better!! Good Luck :)
I also think the grocery store should NOT count as Me Time! How many times have we heard that?
"I just need thirty minutes to myself where nobody bugs me."
"But you just went to the grocery store alone last night."
Arrrgghhh!
Could not have said it better myself! Even a moment to take a shower without interuption would be nice...
P.S. Thanks for the button placement! It is gratifying to see it on someonelses blog!
the other day my husband came home and told me to leave. he watched the kids for three hours. i had nothing to really do, so i went to the bookstore, watched glee online, and went to the gym. it was so heavenly i can't even explain. the next day, i felt like a much better mother. seriously.
I am so with you on this...We all need a little me time to keep sane! Being a mother, wife, friend, daughter, etc. is HARD! We deserve a break every once in a while.
I totally agree with you! I actually posted something along the same lines about a week ago. Take some time for yourself lady! You deserve it!
