The weather wasn't that great this year. It was on the chilly side and we did have some rain. The good thing is that we bring our boat to the lake and it is very serene. The mountains are beautiful and we love just going for boat rides. But, Christopher was not feeling so great before we left. So, the vacation went something like this.....
1. Christopher throws up as we are walking out the door to leave for vacation.
2. Chrisotpher has to take a poop as we are driving and there are no rest stops. We pull to the side of the road and he craps in the portable potty in the front seat (with him sitting between my legs).
3. Anthony covers himself in bleach (I bring bleach to clean the tub before I bath the kids in it) and hubby has panic attack.
4. Christopher breaks out in hives all over his body (again, hubby has panic attack).
5. Christopher plays with some older boys and learns alot of new 'bad' words that I am now working on correcting.
6. Christopher throws up in a McDonalds Happy Meal box at the rest stop on the way home.
7. Home Sweet Home....
Kids calling eachother on our cell phones to keep them entertained on the 8 hour car ride
(that should have only taken 5 hours)....
View from our cabin...
Our redneck set-up of our deck in the rain (good thing hubby comes prepared)...
Redneck camping trick for cold feet.....
More to come tomorrow......

The socks with sandals look is HOT. Really. hahahaha.
Seems like you had a good time, puking and all.
oh my word! sounds like you need a vacation from your vacation!!!
Oh my goodness! I am so sorry to hear that the little man got sick like that! The bleach incident would have totally given me a panic attack too! I hope the rest of your trip was easier then the start of it! I can't wait to read the rest!
Isn't that how vacation goes? The socks are what Islanders consider winter foot attire over here... LOL
And why is it they have to do the "wet" sick in the car...
Pretty genious rain shelter on the fly!
Love the redneck trick for cold feet. We have a lot of rednecks in this state...but no need for that trick :)
