But where is it?? Fall is officially here and I expect the weather to get a little cooler. I want to wear a light jacket. I want to be able to light the fire pit and toast marshmellows. I want to see the leaves start to change to beautiful colors and I want to start to decorate for the upcoming Fall holidays.
I want it to look like this……
But it doesn’t. Not yet anyway. We went apple picking at the festival and it was 85 degrees and humid. The kiddos were running in potato saks and they were sweating. Not my idea of the fall….lol.
We did get a ton of apples and the kids had a great day and that is what counts. Although the weather might not feel like fall, I can make some warm apple crisp and have a pumpkin latte and in my world, it will be fall!!

This weather is AWFUL!! But I hear that fall will be here this weekend!! Let's hope!
I would happily take 85 right now. Yesterday, it was 106. Today, back up into the high 90's. I am SO over this summer weather.
Sounds like a nice Sunday! I'm with you on the weather...it's just gross. I am all about Summer, but if I can't lay by the pool or go to the beach, just let it cool down already. Not to mention the humidity is killing my good hair days! Have a fabulous week!
I love fall, but I am really a girl of summer. I am not ready for the cold weather. If you can even say we get cold weather in Louisiana.

Love that you get a fall! Our fall happens in January. Sucks. But, then again, in January you are wishing for fall or spring and we are enjoying perfect weather.
