Finally….we have one day left until the end of the school year for Christopher!! Woot-hoot!! I see a light at the end of the tunnel. The last 2 weeks has been crazy with the 2 kids and picnics, parties, field days, literacy balls and running to get everyone under the sun a present! LOL! I know that I tend to take on way to much, but in the end, things always work out.
Anthony ended last week. His nursery school had a little party where the parents were invited into the class and the children sang songs. Anthony did great. He was one of the only ones singing…lol! After all of the entertainment, the kids and the parents shared snacks. It was really cute. But I knew the drill as Christopher went to the same school and even had the same teachers!
(Notice the new ‘cool’ haircut? LOL!)
I was a class parent in Anthony’s class and so I was in charge of the gift. The entire class chipped in and we got a group gift. It is just so much better for the teachers I think. Otherwise they end up getting a bunch of cheap junk. Good old Pinterest helped me with an idea. We got each teacher (and there are 3) a $75 Visa gift card. But I wanted to display in something cute.
Here is what I did….
I got an oven mitt and 2 other kitchen utensils.
I then made a tag that said “We adMITT you are one of our BEST teachers!”
Put it all together and you have an adorable teacher gift. They all loved it!
Sorry, I forgot to take a picture with the tag on it….lol!
Anthony and his teachers….a bittersweet day was had by all!
Now, one more day and Christopher will be done!! I will post about his end of the year tomorrow.
Have a great day!
