Miscellany Monday...

Hope everyone had a great weekend. It is time again for Miscellany Monday. Happy ramblings : )

ONE. So, just recently I converted Anthony's crib into a toddler bed. You all think I am crazy, but it had to be done. He is getting better with sleeping in there at night. Well, I should say, going to sleep but not staying in there. He has been walking out around 5am to come in my room. But as far as naps....he refuses. I have had to drive him around in the car a few times just to get him to nap. When we are home, he just fights it. This is how I found him on Friday afternoon.....

TWO. Saturday night we were invited to my neighbor's daughters Sweet Sixteen. I have not been to one probably since I was 16...almost 20 years ago!! Well, boy have things changed. I think alot of these girls watch to many of these reality show. It was like a wedding. And we do weddings big in NY, so this was big.
It was a beautiful place, the food was excellent and the kids had a great time. And for the hubby and I, it was a night alone. I feel bad for all of you with little girls....you better start saving now : )

Just look at the gown on the guest of honor...it was poofier than my wedding gown!

Me and my hubby...

THREE. Why do companies have to send these Holiday toy catalogs before it is even Halloween?? We have gotten a bunch already and Christopher has not stopped asking me for every toy in creation. I keep saying 'put it on your list.' Sometimes rushing it makes you over the Holidays before they even get here!!

1. Our twins started climbing out of their cribs at 11 months. The switch to toddler beds was honestly so easy for us. Or, at least easier than a broken bone!

2. Wow. When I turned 16 I was allowed to drive myself and three friends to dinner at Bennigan's. Love your dress, by the way!

3. No kidding. I was in Hobby Lobby on Friday and was in holiday overload. Halloween, to Thanksgiving, to five rows of Christmas decor. Holy cow...

second Holy cow that is a fancy birthday! What is she going to expect for her wedding if that is what a 16th birthday is like! Holy cow! But if I were her and my parents were willing I would so take it LOL

third What a great dress! You and the hubby look so good! How nice to have such a fun night out!

Hope you have a great week!

What a sweet little sleepy boy!
OMG on the sweet sixteen business! There is no way! I don't get this! Nobody did sweet 16 around here when I was 16. It sure sets up crazy expectations for the wedding... yikes. But it's good you got a night out!
Crazy on the Christmas already! Seriously. I try to ignore it till December 18th.

You look beautiful! Oh gosh, GG isn't having a sweet 16 party. Bret and I decided we'll just allow her to choose a friend or two and we will all go on a vacation. MTV has ruined a while generation of kids...they want way too much way too soon! Oh and back to you...You and your hubby are quite a good looking pair! Sorry about your lil' man, hope he gets used to his new accommodations soon!

Oh my gosh that seems like a bit much for a 16th birthday! I have two little girls... you're right, I better start saving for all that craziness!
When my eldest was 17 months too when she moved into a toddler bed, which worked out fine til she realised she could wander round the room. 9 months later she still does it but at least most of the time she falls asleep back in her bed! Funny kids.
