Hair, hair and more hair….

Hello all….happy Tuesday! It is nice to be back to blogging after taking a little time off in order to pray for those affected by the horrific tornadoes. I hope everyone still continues to say prayer for those in need : )

I am all about hair lately. I guess with the nice weather and the warm temperatures, we all want to make some changes. Buying some new make-up or getting some cute new flip flops always makes me feel better. One thing I have always liked to change though is my hair. I have had really short hair, really long hair and every shade of red and brown!  I do not get attached to my hair like some people do. I enjoy being able to change my look through changing my hair. The issue is that my hair is very fine. I somehow did not get the thick, shiny hair that my sister’s got…LOL!

I have always thought about these…
clip-ins

Hair extensions seem so much more popular these days. I know they can be quite costly and I am not going to spend hundreds or thousands of dollars on my head. So I started to so some research and found that there are a lot of cheaper options out there. I went to the local Sally Beauty to look and thought I would try something fun. I bought a drawstring ponytail that goes over your own ponytail. I took it home and tried it. It was a little too heavy and it was way too long. I did some surgery on it and cut it in half and tried to clip it in around the base of my head like regular extensions.

No too bad…LOL! It doesn't lay right on me since it was not really supposed to be used this way. I am now addicted to finding some extensions that are inexpensive and fun. I read the reviews on the Avon ones and they seem to be pretty good. I might try them. Anyone have any suggestions??

I went back and bought a different ponytail clip-in. I am so excited that I can look and feel better with some new hair : ) Now that is something good!

Hair extensions are fun...I wore the Jessica Simpson hair extensions on my wedding day! Your hair looks awesome, it may be fine, but it looks super shiny.

Hair extensions are perfect for me, because i always chop off my hair and regret it instantly :(

i am so thrilled about my organizer! The packaging & stationary was adorable :) When I find my camera download attachment I am posting about it and I added your button to my blog, hope you don't mind!

They look great! I love them too! You will become addicted, for sure! One of my faves is from Ulta. It looks like a super dense-hair ponytail holder. All you do is tie up your hair in a ponytail and make a loop. Then you wrap the hair-pony and wrap it around twice. It looks like the "messy" bun -only 1000% easier and cuter. Sallys carries them, only with not as nice hair and not nearly as pretty. I have gotten two so that I can do very low almost pigtails close together for a very fancy night out look...

I think your homemade extensions look great in the picture!

I also had the Jessica Simpson extensions for my wedding day. People had no clue that I had extensions in...they looked awesome!

I love how bold you are and that you can rock any look you choose. I have too thick of hair, the thought of extensions, even just for length makes my neck sweat. If they made them for children, I would certainly try to strap some extensions on my nearly bald daughters. LOL

You totally pull the extensions off! I think they look great on you. I can totally relate, I am trying to grow my hair out and it seems like it is taking forever to grow. My hair is the worst in humidity too, I end up wearing pony tails half the time during the Summer. I hope you are enjoying that patio futrniture!

ohh, I like!!I have a girlfriend who actually wears wigs. It's awesome! One day she's a blonde, they next day a redhead, then back to burnet! I always thought you would be able to tell if someone has "fake" hair. But unless you are examining their scalp you really can't! rock that ponytail!
