Miscellany Monday and Happy Valentine’s Day

Happy Valentine’s Day….

Today is Valentine’s Day and I hope that everyone is spending time with the one’s that they love. Take the time today to kiss your kids and kiss your husband. Tell them you love them over and over. Spread the love…it is all that we have that will ever truly make us happy.

Okay….now on to some random musings for this Monday…
Miscellany Monday @ lowercase letters

ONE. I have come to the realization that I am totally out of touch with pop culture. I watched part of the Grammy awards last night and I had no idea who half of the artists were. What happened…I used to be cool?? I did realize that I ‘miss’ listening to music though. Since becoming a mom, I have stopped doing so many things I love….I am going to make an effort to change that : )

TWO. Why is that God made boys wild?? I let Christopher spend some time this weekend with his older boy cousins. He had a blast. But there wasn’t a moment that I wasn’t getting hit in the head with Nerf darts or breaking up a wrestling match. I think I am in for many a trips to the ER as my boys get older!

THREE. Life would be awesome if men could experience PMS. Even just for one day. I was never a gal that was ever really moody before, after or during my period. But since having Anthony, my hormones have a mind of their own and I turn into someone else. I wish I could control it, but I can’t. I wish the hubs would understand. But he doesn’t. Can’t God make a change, come on, let the men have equal rights!!

Happy Monday…

1. It's not just you. I don't even know who half of the "artists" are anymore. And quite honestly, the sideshow stuff is just annoying to me. Hatching from an egg? Really?

2. If I had the answer for that, I'd be a billionaire.

3. Mr. BFG has numerous bouts of PMS. In fact, just yesterday he was whining about the weed eater so badly I had to ask him if I needed to buy him some tampons.

Happy Valentine's Day!

I felt the same way - Who the hell is Esperanza Spalding? Say what? And the guy at the piano in the chicken space suit - who was he? Anyway, this is what getting older does to us, and by the time our kids are in highschool they'll be saying "Mom is stuck in the '90's" LOL!

My girl is rough like a boy...I totally feel ya on that! I just know we have some trips to the ER in our future.

A man wouldn't survive a day with cramps and bloating. LOL!

HAHA! Men live in a permanant state of PMS. We just deal with it...
I still think you are cool!

Happy Valentine's Day buddy! :-) I guess if I HAVE to kiss my husband, I will. LOL

One. I listen to music in the car, but since I don't have time to read US Weekly anymore, I probably wouldn't know who the artists were either. That is IF I watched the Grammys. I don't know...something about giving these people awards for doing their jobs (that they already make way too much money for) just doesn't excite me. Now, if we had accountant awards...

Two. I have heard that boys are generally wilder than girls. I spent some time with Colleen and her kids over the weekend and her boys (while very polite and very well behaved) were on the wild side too. Right now, though, Rylie is my daredevil, so we'll see. Good luck with your two. I see a lot of ER trips in your future too.

Three. What have our kids done to us???? I NEVER got cramps before, and now every month I feel like I'm in freaking labor. It's ridiculous. So yeah, I wish the men had equal rights. haha

Have a great week, my friend!
